Sylvia Talvin Baggett, 81, of Cusseta, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. Sylvia was born on March 7, 1937 in Dothan, AL to the late Edward and Ollie Bigbie. She was a member of White Rock Assembly of God in Phenix City, AL.

Her caring and loving spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Sylvia loved her church and faithfully served with an unselfish heart. As a mother and grandmother, she always cherished time spent with her family whom she loved and adored.

Other than her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Rev. Talmage Baggett and a son, Michael Baggett. Survivors include her children, Anthony Baggett (Lisa Lee) of Cusseta, GA, Carl Baggett (Valerie) of Jacksonville, FL, Deborah Chalkley (Mark) of Fredericksburg, VA; sisters, Marie Atkins of Newport News, VA, Mary Lou Almasy of Flint, MI, Marlene Gibbons of Phenix City, AL, Rachel Payne of Pace, FL; brothers, Wayne Bigbie (Diane) of North Gloucester, VA, Tony Bigbie (Linda) of Columbus, GA; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
