Tammy Lynn Richardson Lang 49, of Lower Burrell, was born in Greensburg on October 17, 1969 and was the daughter of the late Carol Lynn Franklin and the step-daughter of Harry Hagerty died on Tuesday November 27, 2018. She grew up there and later graduated from Hempfield High School in 1987. It was there that she met Matthew Lang, the love of her life: They married in 1991and in time, became the proud parents of their son Avery H. Lang in 1995.

Ultimately, they settled in Lower Burrell, Pa where Matt taught high school mathematics in the city of Pittsburgh and Tammy bonded with Avery teaching him to be successful in life. In 2006 after being frustrated with the lack of quality hypoallergenic makeup available for her and other women, Tammy decided, with her can-do attitude, to start her own internet business to fill the gap. Her company, Meow Cosmetics, specialized in micro-formulated, hand-made mineral cosmetics that could be used all women regardless of their skin color.

Her product lines eventually grew to include over 85 foundation shades and more than 300 eyeshades, and have been favorably reviewed a number of times across the internet. She was proud of the fact that none of her cosmetics were tested on animals or made use of products tested on animals. Tammy is survived by her step-father Harry, her beloved husband of 27 years, Matt, her loving son Avery, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was outgoing, smart, funny, and an animal lover. She loved to listen to books from audible.com and was a devoted fan of Olivia Newton-John. Tammy will be missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday December 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM to noon at Mason-Gelder Funeral Home 201 N. First St. Jeannette, PA 15644. A buffet luncheon will follow at Grandview Fire Hall, 1655 Ridge Road, Jeannette, PA 15644. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Save the Chimps (www.
