Tanner Dwayne Flanagan was born on November 7th, 1985 to David Flanagan and Tammy Hoffman. He always loved his sister Teryn Flanagan. He grew up in Ellis County where he learned, and fell in love with dirt track racing and the love for that grew as he got older.

He also loved to work with his hands and started plumbing at 16 years of age. Tanner’s daughter, Haylee Flanagan, is now 12. Tanner and Dara met in a small dive bar, singing karaoke in 2012.

They loved to sing and dance together. Their love grew rapidly for one another, and Dara proposed to Tanner dancing next to his race car in the shop. They were married October 6th, 2012.

He became “Dad” to Autumn Walters (12) and Summer Walters (10), and anyone who knows him, knows that “those were his babies”. Tanner and Dara then welcomed Casidhe Flanagan into this world in 2013. His life was cut way too short, and his memory will be always be cherished by so many that have to stay behind and carry on his love.

You are missed Tanner! I know we will find you in heaven! Memorial Donations may be made to the daughter’s college fund.

A viewing and visitation are scheduled for Monday, May 13, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
