Tara L. Brown-Miller, 43, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her home. Tara was born on August 11, 1975 in Mishawaka to Lawrence E. Williams and Deborah J. (Pendergrass) Williams and has remained a lifelong resident of this area, graduating from Clay High School and receiving her associate’s degree from Ivy Tech Community College, South Bend. Tara worked for many years as a home health aide, enjoyed spending time in Florida, loved her pet dogs, and cherished her Native American Indian Heritage.

On September 10, 2011 in South Bend, she was united in marriage to Joshua Miller, who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Tawny Brown, and two sons, Chris Williams and Anthony Brown, all of Mishawaka; sister, Carrie Williams of Mishawaka; brother, Lawrence “Hev” E. Williams, Jr., of South Bend; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Tara was preceded in death by her first husband, Bennie Brown, and by her mother, Deborah J. Williams.

A service celebrating Tara’s life will be held at 5:00pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN, where friends may gather with the family from 3:00-5:00pm prior to the service.
