OBITUARY Teresa Muzzin Caprista September 5, 1926 – July 12, 2018 Teresa Caprista passed in peace at home on July 12, 2018 at the age of 91. She was born and raised in San Jose, CA to Italian Immigrants, Frank Muzzin and Lucy Bugna Muzzin. Teresa was a successful and well-respected business owner, and was known by family and friends for her infectious smile, sassy quick-wit, loyal and generous heart, and boundless energy.

She enjoyed traveling, gardening, Pokeno with friends, and large family gatherings. Over the years, Teresa was an active member in several groups – Women in Construction, Italian Mothers Club, Flower Lovers Club, and Women in Touch (WIT). Teresa is survived by her sons, Frank (Rosanna) and William Caprista, and her daughter, Tena Caprista Knea (Timothy), 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters, Irene Elardo and Evette Dilley, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Teresa is preceeded in death by her brother, Frank Jr., and sisters Frances Eutchler and Angelina Figone. Her eagerness to offer an encouraging word, kind comment, or playful joke will be missed dearly.
