Obituary for Teresa Perez Herrera Teresa Perez Herrera was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on December 30, 1940. Teresa left us for eternal rest on July 2, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. Teresa was the daughter of Leopoldo Perez Casso and Teodora Perez.
Teresa lived in San Antonio most of her life. She was the owner of Victoria Tamale Factory on Division Avenue from 1996 to 2009. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Leopoldo Perez Casso and Teodora Perez, her sister Maria Temblador, her brothers Don and Paul Perez, and nephew Rene Resendez.
Teresa is survived by her daughter Christina and husband Marcos, son Antonio, her brother Joe J. Perez, sister Blanca Perez, grandchildren Joseph Rene, Amanda Marie, Blanca Teresa, Jimmy, Sofia Esperanza, Julian and Annie, great-grandchildren Kamila and Darion, and her fur babies Coco, Candy and Lucky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank everyone for the love, support and prayers during this time.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Robert A. Holub, Iveth Soza, D.O. and to the staff of Compassus Hospice Care. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South.
