Terry Eugene Talbot 1945-2019 Terry Eugene Talbot, 73, dearest loved husband, father, grandfather, neighbor, and friend, peacefully passed away January 4, 2019 surrounded by his family, at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Terry was born December 3, 1945 to Eugene LeRoy and Margaret Ann Hocking Talbot in Ogden, Utah. A lifelong, devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in many capacities in the Church, most recently as an ordinance worker for 6 years in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

He loved missionary work, serving two full time missions, first to Ireland as a young man and later as a Senior Missionary with his beloved wife Bonnie in the Oregon Eugene Mission. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam conflict, monitoring reconnaissance maneuvers in Diyarbakir, Turkey. Terry was a master gardener, happily sharing the fruits of his labors with family and neighbors.

He loved classical music and played the French horn in the orchestra at the University of Utah, where he graduated with a degree in biology. Terry was a well-respected broker & health underwriter, serving a term as President of the UAHU. He was an avid camper and had a passion for all of nature and the outdoors.

He was an expert fisherman, published in multiple fishing guides, past editor of Utah Trout Unlimited, and told fishing stories with the best of them! He had the greatest sense of humor, always ready with a joke and a smile. He was known for his love & devotion to his family, and all who were blessed to call him friend.

Terry and his sweetheart Bonnie Lee Fillmore were married February 14, 1972. He is survived by his wife Bonnie; children, Kurt, Jennifer (Paul), James (Charmaine), Michael (Stephanie), Tamara, and Joseph (Ann); 15 grandchildren, Nate, Hailee, Kaitlin, Ian, Jonathan, Skyler, Amanda, Emily, Saige, Alex, Sean, Josh, Jake, Flint, and James; brothers, Frank (Mary) and Randy (Lisa). Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lee.

Nothing was more important to Terry than his family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Rose Canyon 10th Ward, 14398 S 6400 W, Herriman, Utah. Friends may call at Rose Canyon 10th ward Friday, January 11th from 6:00-8:00 PM and just prior to the services from 10:00-10:45 AM.

Interment will be at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.
