Obituary for Thelma D. Park Thelma D. Park (Korney), age 85, of Wickliffe, passed away on November 5, 2018. She was born in Burnside, PA on January 3, 1933 to John and Ollie Korney (both deceased). Thelma moved to Cleveland from PA to start her career with GM in 1963.

She proudly retired from GM in 1997 after 34 years of employment. Thelma’s great sense of humor and consideration for others were special qualities that attracted people to her. She enjoyed playing the harmonica in her spare time, but most importantly loved to spend time with her daughters, whom she adored.

Thelma’s generous, caring, loving and giving spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Thelma was the beloved mother of Joy Bowden, Kim (Nick) Savelieff; a proud grandmother of Michael, Brian (Danielle) and Jamie Waterhouse, Matt Rolf, Selena and Alex Savelieff; a loving great-grandmother, Braylon, Gracee, Kayla and Cooper; and a cherished sister of Joe Korney and Betty Fridley. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Debbie Bowden and Presh Waterhouse; brothers John, Bill, Tom, and Paul Korney; and sister Ruth Reid.

Visitation for Thelma will be held from 1 – 4 PM on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. , Eastlake. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Monreal Funeral Home.
