Thelma’s Obituary Thelma Mae Norden, age 81, of Farmington, MO formerly of Fisk, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Community Manor in Farmington, MO. Mrs. Norden was born July 03, 1937 in Kennett, MO, daughter of the late Chester Dillon Sr. and Mary Olive Dillon. She had worked as a cook at YTG’s Restaurant, Deer Run Restaurant and Dudley Restaurant.

She also had been a cook at Twin Rivers Elementary and Middle School at Fisk. She later worked at 4A Enterprise at Williamsville. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Fisk. On October 17, 1952 she married Philip Norden. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2006.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda Eads and husband Charles of Caledonia, MO, and Carolyn Williams of Gosnell, AR, one son: Ricky Norden and wife Marsha of Park Hills, MO; one brother: Chester “Bud” Dillon, Jr. of Patton, MO, 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son: Billy Norden Sr., one great grandson: Brendan Magill; one great granddaughter Madison Magill and one sister: Emma Woolard. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Wednesday December 26, 2018 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Curtis McClard officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Missouri. Condolences: www.
