OBITUARY Thelma May Pecher May 23, 1929 – July 12, 2018 Thelma May Roholt Pecher (née Thorpe) died peacefully in St. George, Utah on July 12, 2018 at the age of 89. Thelma is survived by her children, Debra (Frank) Garcia of Mesquite, Nevada, and Dr. Dan Sizemore of Claremont, California; step children Susan Kinney, Twin Falls Idaho, Becky (Mike) Fikstad, Twin Falls, Idaho, Donnett Huff Sims (Bill) Delaware, 7 grandchildren: Justin Garcia, Bellingham Washington; Heather Garcia, Seattle Washington; Scott Sizemore, San Pedro California; JT Sizemore Pacific Palisades, California; Rob Kinney Twin Falls, Idaho; Brionne Trivitt Twin Falls, Idaho; Julie Fikstad Twin Falls, Idaho and Mark Fikstad Twin Falls, Idaho; many great grandchildren, and loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two grandsons, Mark Sizemore and Michael Fikstad, stepson Randall Roholt, husbands Woody Roholt, Don Pecher, and Jordan Sizemore, her sisters, Charlotte Quesnell, Phyllis Collins, Joan Boyd and brothers Milton Thorpe and Dewayne Thorpe, and 3 special nephews; Roger Boyd, Larry and Tony Collins.

Thelma was born in May, 1929 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Leslie Earl Thorpe and Ethel Bell (née Taylor). She graduated from Kimberly High School in 1947 and the College of Southern Idaho in 1972 with a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing. She married Jordan Sizemore, in 1949.

Her first job was with the Idaho Power Company before her first child arrived. Over 3 years, the couple welcomed 2 children into their home and Thelma offered them loving support their whole lives. In 1970 Thelma married the love of her life, Elwood (Woody) Roholt and welcomed more family.

After Woody’s death she married Don Pecher in 1987. Thelma played piano and loved music and was able to see a musical in London with her two children. Thelma was passionate about nursing, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

And indeed her whole extended family. She loved fishing, camping and snowmobiling with her husband Woody. A celebration of Thelma’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at White Mortuary, 136 4th Ave.

East, Twin Falls. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A reception will follow at The Catering Room.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Thelma’s life. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Brookdale Assisted Living and Integrated Senior Care and Hospice in St. George, Utah for their loving care.
