M. with the visitation beginning at 9:00 A. M. at Word Ministries in Eunice, LA. Burial will be in Eunice North (Honeybee) Cemetery in Eunice, LA. Rev.

Guillory will officiate the funeral ceremony. On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, the Angels of the Lord journeyed to Camelot Brookside Nursing Home in Jennings, LA and escorted Thelma to her eternal home. Filled with empty wells of loneliness will be five daughters: Bertha Skinner of Paris, CA, Mary Sparks of Lake Charles, LA, Judy Lee of Rialto, CA, Brenda Keeling of Los Angeles, CA and Elizabeth and Carrie Ann Skinner both of Eunice, LA; six sons: Walter, Joseph and Carol James Skinner all of Texas City, TX, Johnny Skinner of Eunice, LA and Danny Skinner of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Olton Thomas; her parents: Willie and Elta Green; and six children: Gloria, Eula Mae, Helen, Gene Autry and Elton Skinner and one child who passed away in infancy.
