Theodore (Ted) Wolcott, Jr. of Collegeville, PA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69 with his wife (Bonnie), his faithful companion Shadow, and a friend Sal Charles by his side. Born in Somerville, New Jersey April 15th 1949, he was the son of the late Theodore Wolcott, Sr. and Mary Jane (Williams) Wolcott of Jeffersonville. Ted was the owner of Alpha Enterprises of Collegeville, PA and was one of the earliest satellite dealers in the Montgomery County area in the early 1980’s and served as a board member of the grass roots satellite group K-SAT, which went up against the cable industry along with the FCC to bring satellite television to the forefront. He later went on to be become involved in the CCTV industry. Ted was a 1967 graduate of The Barlow School in Amenia, New York and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1968 and served aboard the U.S.S. Warrington.

He was an avid race fan, whose favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and also enjoyed reading, traveling, hiking and his home away from home in the Poconos. He was always working on some kind of construction project at both of his homes, and on one of our trips to New Hampshire achieved his goal of summiting Mt. Washington.

Ted leaves behind his wife Bonnie, his brother-in-law Jeff Schultz( Cindy), along with his sister-in-law Pam Schultz of Melbourne, Florida, his niece Charlene Hadley (nee Franchi) (Frank) and nephew (Jeffery Schultz). He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, who are invited to pay their respects at a Celebration of Life service on November, 16th at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, 101 North Park Avenue, Trooper, PA. from 11-12 P.M. A brief memorial service will be held following from 12-12:30 P.M. Interment will be private.
