Theresa H. Stratman, age 92, of Huntingburg, passed away at 4:25 a.m., on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Meadow View Health & Rehabilitation Center in Salem, Indiana. She was born August 10, 1926, in Huntingburg, Indiana to George and Frances (Verkamp) Boeglin. Theresa worked as a retail sales clerk; was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Ladies Sodality; and enjoyed baking cookies to give to friends, camping and outdoor activities.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold “Arnie” Stratman, who died in 1994; one son, Robert Stratman; and three siblings, Leonard Boeglin, Robert Boeglin and Marie Schwenk. She is survived by three children, William “Bill” (Nancy) Stratman of Huntingburg, Jane Perry of Huntingburg and Ann (Max) Mouser of Indianapolis; by (6) grandchildren, (9) great grandchildren and (2) great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Theresa Stratman will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Ryan Hilderbrand.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 11th. A parish rosary prayer vigil, led by Deacon Tom Holsworth, will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared online at: www.
