Theresa Louise Kunkel, 79, wife of Robert Gene Kunkel, of 38 Mizzen Lane, Salem, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Olney, TX, Mrs. Kunkel was the daughter of the late James Woodrow and Ella Louise Phillip Conner. She was a retired school teacher with a Masters in Elementary Education.

Mrs. Kunkel was a member of the Eternal Shepherd Lutheran Church LCMS. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kunkel is survived by her sons: Robert Mark Kunkel (Sandra) of Rochester Hills, MI, and Michael Ray Kunkel (Deborah) of Anderson, SC; brothers: James Conner (Martha) of Wichita Falls, TX and John Conner (Gracie) of Temple, TX; sister: Nell McClellan (Lyn) of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Robert Kunkel (Megan), Matthew Kunkel (Kristin), Christopher Kunkel, Zachary Kunkel, Dallas Kunkel (Elizabeth), Hannah Davis (Cory), Rachel Balsiger (Jesse), Sarah Kunkel, Ella Kunkel and Noah Kunkel; and great-grandchildren: Caleb Kunkel, Lorelei Kunkel, Lily Kunkel, Chloe Kunkel, Denver Kunkel, Jackson Kunkel, Avery Davis, Ezra Davis and Charlotte Balsiger. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 3, 2019, at Eternal Shepherd Lutheran Church.

The family will receive friends following the service.
