HILL, NH Theresa Yvonne LaRoche, 81, formerly of Sanbornton, NH, died at Merrimack County Nursing Home on April 25, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born in Lowell, MA on May 25, 1936 the daughter of David and Loretta (Gregoire) Valorose. Theresa attended the Keith Hall School in Lowell, MA, and later graduated from the Concord School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.

She was originally employed as a nurse at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Washington, DC, and then at the Boston Children’s Hospital. After that, she worked at a hospital in Wolfeboro, NH, and then in Laconia, NH. Theresa later was employed at Steele Hill Resorts in Sanbornton, NH, after she left nursing to raise her three children.

Her husband, David J. LaRoche died in 2005. Theresa enjoyed cooking, canning, hiking, skiing, and gardening. Family members include 3 children, Margaret Flack and partner Raymond Beveridge of Lakeport, Diana LaRoche of Lakeport, Lisa LaRoche and wife Georgianna Morrill of Hill, a grandchild, Leslie Clark of Lakeport, great grandchild, Genivieve Clark, one brother: David Valorose of Thorton, 2 sisters: Elizabeth Ryan of Chicago and Janet Murray of Ashland, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Charlotte Uhlman of Campton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Theresa may be made to the Edna Mckenna fund at Merrimack County Nursing Home, 325 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
