Thomas Amiller Sr , July 29, 1935 — October 07, 2018

Obituary for Thomas Miller, Sr. Thomas A Miller, Sr. – 83 of Mays Landing, passed away on October 7th, 2018 surrounded by loving family at his Daughter’s home. He was born July 29th, 1935 in Mauch Chunk (Jim Thorpe), PA to Vincent and Veronica Miller. He graduated from Westchester School of Nursing at Grasslands Hospital, Grasslands, NY and then attended Anesthesia school at Graduate Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.

He worked at Shore Memorial Hospital for over 30 years as a CRNA. At Shore Memorial Hospital he met his wife Frances who worked as a RN in the recovery room at Shore Memorial. They were married on September 7th, 1963 and enjoyed 53 years of marriage.

He missed her dearly when she passed away in March of 2017. He was an active member of Saint Katharine Drexel. He enjoyed his life of family and friends and was an active caregiver for many around him.

One of his greatest passions in life besides his wife was his grandchildren and family. He was predeceased by his wife Frances Gallaccio Miller. He is survived by his son Tom Jr. (Janet), his daughter Christine (Clay).

He was also a loving grandfather to Francesca, Peter, William, Zackary, Caitlin, Veronica, Cynthia, Kevin, Clay Jr and great grandchildren Abigail, Adeline and Chloe. He is predeceased by his brothers Bernard and Charles. He is survived by his sisters Helene, Rosemary and Betty Ann.

A gathering to celebrate his life and memory will be held at the Church of St. Katharine Drexel, 6077 West Jersey Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 from 9am to 11am Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Church of St. Katharine Drexel.
