Thomas Benvenuto, 63, of North Brunswick, passed away Tuesday December 4, 2018 at Overlook Medical Center of Summit. He was born in Staten Island, New York and grew up in the communities of Cliffwood Beach and Matawan. He was a Sales Manager at T. Marzetti, a specialty foods company for many years.

Thomas is predeceased by his father Thomas Dominick Benvenuto. He is survived by his loving mother Betty (Danielsen) Benvenuto, wife Gail Kelly; children Daniel Benvenuto and his wife Lisa of North Carolina, Kathleen Benvenuto and her partner Colin Rooney of Jersey City; stepchildren John Woods and his wife Melanie of Rural View, QLD Australia, Katie MacDonald and her husband Stephen of Cedar Falls Iowa, and former wife Patricia Benvenuto. Thomas also leaves behind three adored grandchildren Steven, Jaxson, Kaiden and step grandchildren Lily, Jayna, Mason, Tucker, and Blaire.

Thomas was a kind man who lived a simple life. All who meet him found a smile awaiting and conversation to share. At the request of the family, Thomas will be privately cremated.

A memorial visitation will be held after cremation for Thomas. Friends and relatives are invited to the memorial visitation on Saturday December 15, 2018 from 11AM to 3PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735. During the visitation, a prayer service will be offered in Thomas’s memory.
