Thomas C. Camarda Age 91, formerly of Mt. Troy on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Beloved son of the late Peter and Lucrezia (Balestreire) Camarda; loving brother of the late Joseph Camarda and Charles Camarda; loving brother-in-law of Dorothy Camarda; loving uncle of Louise (Frank) Machi, Peter (Patricia) Camarda, Joanna (Sheleta) Camarda Webb, Antoinette (Camarda) Geyer and the late Mary Camarda; loving great-uncle of Angela (David) Machi Evans, Deanna Machi (Geoffrey) Ladd, Joseph, Peter (Holly Knaus), Patricia Camarda, Douglas and Matthew Geyer; dear great-great-uncle of Andrew and Christopher Evans.

Family to receive friends 3-8 p.m. THURSDAY ONLY, December 27, 2018 at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212- Troy Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 9:30 a.m., in Our Lady Queen Of Peace Church at the corner of Middle and Suismon Sts.

Tom was a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, earning undergraduate and graduate school degrees. He retired after providing decades of dedicated service to the veterans at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Highland Drive as a clinical outpatient social worker and was a member of the Ushers Ministry at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (St. Peter Parish). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Chapel, 1700 Harpster Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, where he was a former board member.
