Thomas Dean Abel, 72, of Port Clinton, passed peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2019. He was born in Port Clinton on December 24, 1947 to the late Charles and Lucile Abel. He graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1964.

On August 7, 1971 he married Lilalee M. O’Lynn and she survives. Tom served proudly as a Sergeant in the US Army and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the 173rd Air Borne Special Forces.
