OBITUARY Thomas Foerster September 29, 1927 – November 29, 2018 New City, N.Y. – Thomas Leonard Foerster, 91, of New City, N.Y. passed away on November 29, 2018 after a long illness. Born September 29, 1927 in the Bronx he was the son of the late Rose and George Foerster. He joined the Navy in July 1945 and served in WW II and the Korean War.

He married Beatrice Hahn on April 25, 1953 and raised three children Thomas, Dianne and Nancy. Tom worked for New York telephone upon leaving the Navy until retirement in 1985. During retirement he pursued various interests including skiing, golf and travel.

He was predeceased by his daughter Nancy and his siblings Rose, George, Joseph and Edward and his cousin Richard. Tom is survived by his wife Beatrice and his children Thomas and Dianne. Visiting Sunday, December 2 from 3pm to 6pm at Higgins Funeral Home New city.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10AM St. Francis of Assisi Church West Nyack, NY. Interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
