Kennedy, 63 of Jamesburg died Sunday February 10th at the Monroe Village Health Care Center, Monroe Township. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Kennedy lived there until moving to Jamesburg in 1995. He was employed for 35 years as a stationary engineer through the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 94, Manhattan.

He was a veteran of the US Navy, attaining the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class. Mr. Kennedy enjoyed Sci-Fi novels and movies, spending time in his backyard and pool. He loved ice cream and especially his dogs.

He was predeceased by his brother Martin and sister Sonia. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Margaret Segerdell Kennedy, his two sons Adam and Thomas, his brother Roger his two sisters Christina and Lilly and his twin chocolate labs, Ben & Jerry. Services will begin 9:00 a.m. Thursday February 14th at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. James RC Church, Jamesburg.

Burial will be in the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 8-9 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Valiant Sr. Foundation at www.
