of Circlewood Dr., Coventry, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband for 53 years of Eileen L. (McNally) Kohler. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Cullen) Kohler.

Thomas worked in the construction industry for many years and for the Cranston School Department before retiring. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran; a member of Fox Point Boys & Girls Club in Providence for over 50 years; and Nelson Mack VFW in Cranston. Besides his wife Eileen, he was the devoted father of Thomas J. Kohler and his wife Diana of Coventry and Darlene M. Maggiacomo and her husband Piero “Peter” of Johnston; loving grandfather of four; loving great-grandfather of one; and dear brother of Richard Kohler of East Providence, Roger Kohler of Providence; Kenneth Kohler of SC and the late Robert and William Kohler and Jean Reed.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. , Cranston on Monday, January 7th at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS are MONDAY MORNING from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Fox Point Boys & Girls Club, 90 Ives St., Providence, RI 02906.
