He was also a member of the Son’s of the American Legion and cooked a lot of chicken for many of the event’s over the years. Tom worked for 40 years at the US Post Office and was also the president of the Union for 20 years.

He enjoyed catching up with his neighbor hood and childhood friends at the Coffee Peddlar in Harrison. Tom was a very generous man and much of his generosity was not known to others. He always said “It’s a good thing I’m not Rich I would just give all my money away”.

Following the Mass family and friends will gather in the cafeteria at St. John’s school for food, refreshments and also to share some wonderful memories of Tom. Burial will be Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10 am at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Tom enjoyed every year taking children shopping through the American Legion.
