Obituary for Thomas J. Green, Jr. Thomas James Green, Jr., passed away peacefully into his parents’ loving arms on June 25, 2018 at his home in Hamilton. He was born to the late Thomas James Green, Sr. and Elizabeth Green (nee Haws) in Trenton, NJ. Thomas proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.

He previously worked as a brick layer for Princeton Brick Layers Union for 13 years before retiring. Thomas was a member of the Elk Lodge in Hamilton. He enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.

Thomas will be remembered by his daughter as the best Dad in the world who will be deeply missed. Thomas is predeceased by his wife, Louise Green and son in law, Chief Roger Emmons, previously of Ewing, NJ. He is survived by his children, Linda Giles-Emmons, Thomas J. Green III and Margo Tyler, and Lori Joy Green; grandchildren, Joie Lynn Giles-Spry and her husband Robert, James F. Giles, Jessica Green-Piel, and the children of Claire Oswald; great grandchildren, Joshua Giles and Briana Giles; brother in law, Frederick Welde; and dear cat of 29 years, Sebastian.

Entombment for Thomas was handled privately at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Thomas’ memory to the animal rescue of the donor’s choice. The family would also like to express their gratitude for the care and compassion shown by the Hamilton Police Department.
