Thomas J. Lloyd, 64, of Hazlet, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Englewood Hospital with his loving wife by his side. Thomas was born on November 23, 1954 to John and Eleanor Lloyd in Rockville Centre, NY. On July 17, 1976, Thomas married his high school sweetheart Debra Madison.

Thomas enjoyed taking his wife and family on vacations. He loved going to Bermuda and Cape May every summer. He had many lifelong friends that he enjoyed going to sporting events and concerts with.

He was a music enthusiast and sports fan. He liked the NY Jets but was known by everyone for his avid love for the NY Mets. His smile and sense of humor could light up any room.

He was adored by his grandson Tyler and granddaughter Madison. He worked in the coffee industry for 41 years and was currently employed as the General Manager of Coffee Associates in Edgewater, NJ. Thomas was a Licensed Grader for the International Exchange in New York City.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Debra Madison Lloyd; his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Lauren Lloyd; his daughter and her fiance, Melissa Lloyd & Patrick Cory; his loving mother, Eleanor Lloyd; two sisters, Mary Hall and her husband Frank, Patricia Pace and her husband A.J.; his grandson, Tyler Lloyd; his granddaughter, Madison Cory; and his mother-in-law Madelin Madison. He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Lloyd. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Hwy.

79, Morganville, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, 11:00 am at the Waitt Funeral Home, 501 Hwy. 79, Morganville, NJ.

Burial will follow in the Fair View Cemetery, Route 35, Middletown, NJ. Repass to follow at Addison Park in Aberdeen, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Aberdeen Township PBA Local 163, P.O. Box 290, Matawan, NJ 07747.
