Age 49, of Mount Lebanon, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, passed peacefully into the hands of God on Monday April 30, 2018. Beloved husband of Jessica (Denis) Kubilius; loving father of Molly, Jonas, Daniel and Owen; devoted son of the late Martin and Kathleen (McCann) Kubilius; brother of Susan Harris; uncle of Leon Harris; step-brother of Daina Westerman and Anita Reid. Tom was a man devoted to faith, family, friends and music.
He had earned Masters Degrees from both the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Tom also enjoyed serving as an Eucharistic Minister for his church.
He loved spending time with his family and sharing lunch with friends. His children loved his stories and his cooking. Some may even remember his days as lead guitarist for The Hecklers band.
Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, Thursday from 3:00 until 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church, Friday morning at 10 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, please consider the future needs of Tom’s children.
