Thomas L. Pleasants, 67, of Rhodesdale passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at his home. He was born in Virginia on September 9, 1951 and was a son of the late Edward A. and Margie Harlow Pleasants. On February 22, 1973, he married the former Arlene Phillips, who passed away on April 12, 2017.

He was the owner/operator of United Construction Company. He is survived by a son Thomas R. “TR” Pleasants and wife Wendy of Hurlock, two granddaughters Allison Pleasants and Maddie Pleasants, a sister Carolyn Pleasants Graham of Powhatan, VA and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Pleasants is preceded in death by one brother Edward A. Pleasants, Jr. and a sister Barbara Ann Pleasants.

At his request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802 or to Healing Hands Animal Hospital, c/o Dr. Carrol Lewis, 727 E. Main Street, Salisbury, MD 21804. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
