Obituary for Thomas L Simmons Jr. Thomas L Simmons Jr., 92 of Tinton Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and has lived most of his life in the shore area. He enjoyed his many years of being a Guidance Counselor for the Long Branch Board of Education.

He retired in 1991. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years Josephine N. Simmons in 2015. Surviving is his devoted daughter, Cheryl S. Smith of Tinton Falls, a granddaughter Airelle T. Smith also of Tinton Falls, brothers, Donald Simmons and his wife Mary of Delaware, Barrett Simmons and his wife Carol of Burlington, NJ, sister, Joan Fornicola, California.
