Obituary for Thomas Michael Hayes Thomas Hayes Thomas M. Hayes, age 77, of Mentor, passed away June 8, 2018. He was born in Cleveland, on May 23, 1941, to the late Lawrence and Helen Hayes. He was a proud and loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be greatly missed by many.

Tom was the ultimate sports fan, dedicated to the fighting Irish, Notre Dame. he was quite the historian, with a passion for The Civil War, Old Movies, and music. Tom loved to travel and was a devout catholic.

His main joy was his family, the love of his life Linda, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Tom is survived by his daughters, Renee (Mike) Graff and Rachael (Richard) Chicone; grandchildren, Josh and Jack Chicone and Kayleigh Graff. Siblings, Sandra Jenovic, Carole Orozco, Joan Schulz, Jeannette Hayes and Daniel Hayes.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Linda Hayes, sister Pat Yerman and brother Lawrence Hayes. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10:30am at Ss. Robert and William, 367 E. 260 Street, Euclid.

Interment to follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. , Eastlake.
