Thomas Robert “Tom” Wade, 75, of Dexter passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray. Mr. Wade formerly worked for Sears and Smith’s Auto. He was of the Baptist faith.

He enjoyed watching football and Nascar, and gardening in his spare time. Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Linda Arnett Wade of Dexter; four children, Joy Wade English and husband Rickey of Brownsville, TN, Thomas Robert (Rob) Wade Jr. of Gates, TN, Lisa Tabers and husband Jackie of Dexter, KY, and Roger Alderson of Murray; two sisters, Gail Wilson of Olive Branch, MS and Shirley Boyd of Murray; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Wade and Frances Golden Wade; his daughter, Leslie Boggess; and one sister, Patsy Salmon.

Celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Online condolences may be left at www.
