Obituary for Thomas Shigeo Fujita Thomas Shigeo Fujita, 77 of Kailua, HI passed away peacefully in his home on 4/30/2018. He is survived by his sister Barbara Uyezu of Kahaluu, four stepchildren Gilbert, Brian, Cheryl, and David Petersen, five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Tom was employed with the US Civil Service at Pearl Harbor for 33 years and was happily married to Lenora Petersen Fujita for 36, until her passing in 2011.

He had a passion for animals as well as golfing, fishing, and bowling. Services to be held at Hawaiian Memorial in Kaneohe on Tuesday, May 15th with visitation at 9:00a.m., service 9:30a.m., and Military Honors at 11:00 a.m. at the Hawaii State Veteran’s Cemetery, Committal Shelter.
