Wolf, 93, of Danville, passed away at 9:23 pm, Monday, May 20, 2019 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. He was born August 26, 1925 in Bartholomew County, Indiana to Carl Robert & Mabel Boxell Wolf. Thomas married Beverly J. Sharp April 11, 1963 at St. James United Methodist Church in Danville.

Beverly survives, as well as: 2 sons, Christopher (Sonya) Wolf of Indianapolis, Indiana and George Wolf of Danville, Illinois; 2 daughters, Cathy Wolf of Danville, Illinois and Trudy E. (Robert) DeRoeck of Covington, Indiana; 1 brother, Marion (Jackie) Wolf of Jonesboro, Indiana; 5 grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by 1 brother. Thomas served in the Navy as an aviation cadet.

He had been a printer for 45 years, working with Illinois Printing Co, R & S Printing Co, and Bohn Aluminum. He attended St. Mary’s Navy Pre-Flight College in Berkley, CA, and the University of Texas at Arlington. He was a member of the Danville Elks Club and American Legion Post 210.

His hobbies included golf, bowing, horseshoes, and baseball. Memorial services 6pm Monday, June 3, 2019 at Robison Chapel in Catlin with Jay Sorrell officiating. Burial at a later date in the National Cemetery in Danville, Illinois.

Visitation is from 5-6 pm on Monday at Robison Chapel. Memorials in his memory to the Vermilion County Humane Society. On-line condolences at www.

Ruth & Julie’s kindness & warmth resonated throughout the Wolf household over the past few months. We thank you for allowing Tom to stay home where he was the happiest.
