Thomas William Jones, sadly passed on January 21, 2019. Beloved husband of Barbara. Cherished father of Thomas W. (Kelly), Steven M. (Dale Nohre) , and Susan E. Curtin (Andrew).

Loving grandfather of James, Kaitlyn, Madison and Alex. Thomas was born in Detroit Michigan on August 14, 1938 to John F and Mary D.Jones. He served in the US Navy from 1955-1959 aboard the USS Northampton.

He married the love of his life Barbara G. Nickel of Huntington Station, on September 16, 1962. Thomas was employed by the United Parcel Service on LI from 1960-1970. He served as a Police Officer for Nassau County Police Department from 1970-1995.
