Obituary of Thomas Boyle Thomas C. Boyle, Sr., 89, of Wayne, formerly of Woodland Park, passed away on July 13, 2018. Thomas was born in Kearny, NJ on April 13, 1929 to the late Thomas C. Boyle and Margaret Kenny Boyle. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953.
After serving in the Army, Tom worked as an electrician until his retirement. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #238 in Woodland Park and the Korean War Vets in Haledon. He volunteered for the West Paterson Soccer Program and at Preakness Health Care Center in Wayne.
He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma (Figuera) Boyle until her passing in 2006. He was the cherished father of David Boyle, Thomas Boyle, Jr., Michael Boyle and his wife Kathy and Linda Pinski and her husband Steven. He was the adored grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 4.
He is also surivived by his sister Margaret Annone and many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his brother Bill Boyle. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave. , Woodland Park.
A graveside service will begin on Tuesday at 10:30am at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa. Guests may meet at Santangelo Funeral Home at 10:00am.
