Tim G. Hohmann beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 21, 2018. He was born August 17, 1943 in Evanston, IL to E.H. and Loretta Hohmann. After high school he enlisted in the Army where at the Pentagon he met his sweetheart and eternal companion Sharon Allred.

They were married April 20, 1963. Shortly after, he was deployed to Vietnam where he served one tour of duty as an air traffic controller. Upon his return home to the states he joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Upon leaving military service, he moved his family to Utah where he applied the training he received in the military, and at college, in the civilian sector eventually becoming an electrical engineer. A successful career that he enjoyed for 45 years. He enjoyed golfing, going to the races, spending time with his family and traveling.

He also loved serving in multiple church callings especially those involving youth and children. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Sharon, sister Barb (Al) Bender, brother Richard, children Tracy (Ron) Crane, David (Stephanie), Scott (Shellie) and Troy (Dori) Hohmann.

He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing Thursday evening, April 26 at Tate Mortuary from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be Friday, April 27 at 11:00 am at the LDS 11th ward building located at 180 S. Coleman.

There will be a viewing from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Internment at the Tooele City Cemetery.
