Mr. Timothy C. Bly, age 65, of Dayton, born in Beckley, WV, made his transition to his heavenly home Tuesday April 24, 2018 with his wife Carol at his side. Tim graduated from Nettie Lee Roth High School, Class of 1970 and also a graduate of Wright State University. He was a proud member of the Local 24 for Sheet Metal Workers for over 40 years.

Tim coached for several years for the Burkham Park Baseball League and a basketball coach for the Dayton Mohawks. Tim loved working with children and would greet anyone as if he knew them for years. Tim was a great husband, father, grandfather and genuinely a wonderful God-fearing man.

Preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Robert C. and Sylvia M. Bly. Tim leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Carol Bly; sons, Jaimey D. Bly (Mekelle Bly) of Mesa, AZ; Joshua Bly of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Talor H. Bly of Cleveland, OH and Jaimey D. Bly II of Dayton, Ronnell Armstrong of Columbus, OH and Mikéa Armstrong of Mesa, AZ; a host family and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 700 S. James H. McGee Blvd.

Rev. P.E. Henderson, Jr. officiating. Visitation 9 am at the church until time of service.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment West Memory Gardens. The Family would like to thank Premier Heart of Dayton and the Ross Heart Hospital-the Ohio State University Medical Center.

Also, thank you to Fidelity and Hospice Home Health Care for their efforts to make Tim comfortable in his final weeks.
