Obituary for Timothy Doyle Sheahan Sr. Timothy D. Sheahan, Sr. Passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 22, 2019. Tim was born on October 1, 1933 in Arcadia, MO. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.
Tim was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen O’Brien Sheahan. He is survived by his sons: Timothy (Debra), Marty (Kitsy), and Peter (Susie); and grandchildren: Christopher, Megan, Molly, Lucy, Kaellin, Reilly, and Marty. Tim graduated from Chaminade College Preparatory, Washington University, and served his country in the United States Army.
Tim was the fifth of five children, Andy, Jack, Emma Marie, and Bill. Tim grew up in Arcadia, MO and then joined his family members in St. Louis. Tim began his career in the mortgage banking business and ended his career as President of Clayton Savings.
He also ventured into real estate development and was a farmer as well. Tim was accomplished in all areas of business and his word was his bond. Tim served on the boards of Fontbonne College, Chaminade College Prep, St. Patrick Center, as was named Chaminade’s Alumnus of the year in 2006.
Tim was also an avid hunter and fisherman and spent his whole life teaching his sons the joys of the sporting life. Tim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest joy in his life was his family, especially his seven grandchildren.
Tim was a loyal friend to many and let his Christian values guide him through life. Tim will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Visitation will be held at the Church of the Annunziata, 9305 Clayton Rd 63124, Saturday, January 26th, 10:00 am, followed by 11:00 am Mass.
Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chaminade College Preparatory or the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by Bopp Chapel.
