Timothy Neil Elgar, age 71 of Rockton died Friday at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born December 3, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio. The son of Herbert E. Elgar and Dorothy Pruzek Elgar.

Timothy was a graduate of Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst, Ohio. He joined the Marine Corp in 1967 and was honorably discharged in 1969 as a Corporal. He became a machinist and worked with Rockwell International until his retirement.

He lived in the local area for over 40 years. He enjoyed camping, motorcycles, and casinos when available. He is survived by his father, Herbert E. Elgar of Ohio, and his longtime companion, Pam DeSalve Gildersleeve, of DuBois.

He is also survived by a brother, Bert S. Elgar and his wife Judy of Ohio, and three nieces. Private services will be held at a later date. The Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois has been entrusted with the arrangements.
