A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Valentini’s Supper Club, Chisholm. Arrangements are entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Timothy Peder Eskelson, 60, of Chisholm, died Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Essentia Health – St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth.

He was born May 20, 1958, in Sumter, SC, to Edwin P. and Eileen C. (Sagedahl) Eskelson. Tim was a longtime Balkan resident and part time Ash River Trail resident. He… Read More » was retired from Hibbing Taconite, where he worked as an operation supervisor.

Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and archery, and was always there to help family and friends. He had the gift of gab, earning the name “Talk-o”. Papa Timmy lived life to the fullest and will always be remembered for his infectious smile.

Tim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Robbie; children, Nick (Jamie), and Tara (Erik) Ruud; grandchildren, Reid, Rory, and Ellis; mother, Eileen; brothers, Todd (Renee), and Jeffery (Charlene); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
