Timothy Wayne Wooten, of Indian Lake, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 in Columbus. He was born June 21, 1961 in Springfield, OH to Elmer Wooten of Bainbridge and Mazie (Gilbert) Washburn of Campton, Kentucky. Tim worked in construction for some of his life and was a gifted mechanic, able to get any old car or truck running.

He is survived by his children, Charles Wayne Wooten of Springfield, James Robert Wooten of Springfield, their mother, Tara DeRouen, and a daughter Shannon Stover of Florida. He has two granddaughters who loved their Papaw Timbo. Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Wooten Davis, two nieces, Teresa King and Tasha Doughman.

He had many family members he loved dearly including Butch, Pauline, Hester, Steve, Flannery, Tisha, Tanesha, Dillon, Anthony, Chester and Hester Sue. He is also survived by his girlfriend Monique Gilbert and her children, Josh, Michael, and Jake (to whom he was Bodine). He had the best of family and friends, too many to name.

One of his very best friends, Glennis Jones, preceded him in death. He loved spending time with friends, hunting, and especially fishing. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, February 7, 2018 in Victory Faith Center, Springfield.

Burial will follow the service in Rose Hill Burial Park. A visitation will be held 6-8 PM on Wednesday in the church. Adkins Funeral Home, Enon, is assisting the family with his final wishes.
