Obituary for Tina Prim Tina Prim was born on January 8, 1968 to the union of Marla and Kenneth Frey Sr. in Chicago Heights, Illinois the youngest of three children. Tina received her formal education in Chicago Heights area graduating from Bloom Trail High School. She was in the office education program in high school that prepared her for jobs and her future.
Her love of people led her to a career as a cashier. She truly enjoyed the interaction with the public. After a thorough study of the Bible, Tina dedicated herself to Jehovah God and symbolized her dedication through water baptism on April 7, 1984.
She was a faithful servant of Jehovah and she could be found at the meetings or listening in on the telephone tie in. Her love of Jehovah was shown by her devotion to the ministry. She enjoyed sharing with others her hope in the fulfillment of Jehovah’s promise at Revelation 21:3-4, a time when illness and death would be no more.
She had the privilege of auxiliary pioneering. One of the highlights of her life was visiting Bethel with her family and members of her congregation. Tina married Stuart Prim on September 21, 1991, they were blessed with one daughter Christina.
She was truly the capable wife of Proverbs 31. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed cooking and caring for them. She planted both vegetable and flower gardens.
Her mastery of crocheting and crafting skills showed her patience and attention to detail. Tina enjoyed family vacations whether it be camping in the woods or Disney World, her main priority was being with family. Her devotion to her family was evident in everything she did, but especially the way she cared for her parents.
Tina drew strength during her illness from a picture painted by her Aunt Margie Newton that depicted the scripture at Isaiah 65:25 “The wolf and the lamb will feed as one, the lion will eat straw just like the bull……. They will do no harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain” says Jehovah. On May 24, 2018, Tina Prim fell asleep in death.
Her family looks forward to welcoming her back to a paradise earth where no resident will say I am sick, and each one will plant a vineyard and eat its fruitage. Tina was preceded in death by her mother Marla. Tina’s warmth, love, kindness, and generosity of spirit will be missed by all who knew her, but especially her husband Stuart, daughter Christina, father Kenneth, siblings Connie (Mark) Brown and Kenneth (Elizabeth) Frey, nieces and nephews Christopher Brown, Katelyn Brown, Kenneth Frey lll and Sharlene Frey, and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.
