Thomas Jesse Tennery Thomas Jesse Tennery was born on April 13, 1935, to Samuel Virgil Tennery and Helen Elliott Tennery in Tuttle, Oklahoma. He graduated from El Reno High School in 1953. On October 5, 1958 he married Lavada Jessup in the Trinity Baptist Church in El Reno, OK.

Tom retired as Major from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol after 28 years of service. After retirement, he was a member of the El Reno Cruisers Car Club for 18 years and president of the club for 13 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil & Helen Tennery, He is survived by his Wife: Lavada Tennery of the home.

Daughter: Teresa Mayberry & Husband Jerry, of Chico, TX. Son: Sam Tennery and wife Michele, of Yukon, OK. Daughter: Mary White and husband Dawayne, of Moore, OK.

Grandchildren: Jessica Samaron, Jacob Mayberry, Mandy Stark, Joshua White, Ashley Tennery, Tosha Harris, and Jake Tennery. 12 – Great Grandchildren with two more on the way, Sister: Etta Goucher of El Reno, OK. numerous other relatives and many dear friends.

Tom is loved and will be greatly missed. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in the Trinity Baptist Church. Rev.

Bobby Boyles & Rev. Rod Young, and Rev. Tom Snethen and Mr. Charlie Wiemers will officiate.

Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 6525 N. Meridian Suite 110 Oklahoma City, Ok.
