Obituary for Mr. Tommy (Red) Eldon Hussey Tommy “Red” Eldon Hussey, 81, of Asheboro, died Saturday, December 1, 2018, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Born in Moore County, NC, on August 19, 1937, Mr. Hussey was the son of the late Jocy Virgil Hoover and Emma Williams Hussey Hoover. He had worked for Pinehurst Textiles and Charlie’s Heating & Cooling.

He enjoyed mowing the grass and watching NASCAR on television. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hussey was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Hussey. Surviving are his son, Chris Hussey and wife, Tina, of Level Cross; grandchildren, Taylor Hussey, of Raleigh, Logan Hussey, of Charlotte; sisters, Agnes Davis, of Sanford, Doris Emery, of Asheboro, Bernice Morgan, of Seagrove; and brother, Donnie Hussey, of Robbins.

At Mr. Hussey’s request, there will be no services, but the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27317; or to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
