Tony’s Obituary Tony Jones, 68, of Hale Center, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019, in Hale Center. Tony was born February 12, 1951, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to G.C. and Juanell (Dillard) Jones. He married Kayla Newton on August 19, 2001, in Lubbock.

Tony was a truckdriver and known as the family mechanic because of his ability to fix anything. Moving to Hale Center from Plainview a year ago, Tony enjoyed fishing at Lake Mackenzie and woodworking. Tony was an avid Nascar fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Spending time with his grandchildren and grilling out were two of his favorite things to do. He will be missed. Survivors include his wife Kayla (Egg Lady) Jones of Hale Center.

He was blessed with many family members and friends left to share his memories. No services are scheduled at this time with arrangements under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
