Tony Lee Shumaker, II age 45 of Alford passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Jackson Hospital. He was born on May 29, 1973 to his late mother Debralee J. Walling and father Tony Lee Shumaker, Sr. Tony moved to Jackson County in 1986 from Maryland. He enjoyed being a mechanic and had worked for King of Battle.

Tony also enjoyed fishing, racing, cooking, and helping people. He was preceded in death by his mother, grandfather Harold R. Pelton, II, his grandmother Betty Joyce Pelton, and grandmother Dale Anderson. Tony is survived by his father Tony Lee Shumaker, Sr., his wife of 18 years Lynn Shumaker, sons Travlaen Shumaker, Nathan Shumaker, and Ashton Shumaker, brothers Christopher Shumaker (Sarah), Joseph Shumaker, and Shawn Nickels, sister Betty Jo, grandchildren Chloe and Paisley Shumaker, and Levi Johnson.

A Celebration of Life service for Tony will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until time of service.
