HOLIGA, “Tony” Michael Anthony, age 55, was a beloved father leaving behind his two children, Joey and Lily and their mother, Jennifer. He was also a son, a brother, a husband, and an uncle. Tony was called home to join other previously passed family members, on June 29, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.

Tony was born on September 8, 1962 in Dayton, OH. He was a 1981 graduate of Fairmont East High School in Kettering, OH. Tony was a kind, caring person who had a quick wit and an unmatched love for his kids and family.

One of his greatest joys in life was watching his son, Joey, play baseball from youth to most recently at Walsh University and watching his daughter play volleyball on her school team. Tony also enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing Texas Hold’em with his family. Tony is preceded in death by his father, Ludomil Holiga and brother, Timothy Holiga.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Taylor Holiga, son, Joseph Holiga; daughter, Lillian Holiga; sister, Carol Markland (Butch); brother, Bud Holiga (Kim); sister-in-law, Mary Stumpff-Holiga; brother, David Holiga (Annette); mother, Lillian “Etta” Holiga; nieces and nephews Theresa Markland, Carrie Jaster (Lance), Lisa Holgia; Tayler Holiga, Griffin Holiga, Christopher Holiga (Jessica), Justin (Denise) Holiga, Laura Holiga; great-nieces and nephews Andrew Berger, Cyndey Jaster, Cammie Jaster, Emma Holiga, Abigail Holiga, Gabriel Holiga and Stella Holiga. In addition numerous cousins and friends survive him. Service will be held at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd.

Kettering, OH on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 12:00pm. Family will greet friends 2 hours prior at the funeral Home from 10:00am-12:00pm. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to Diabetes Kids Fund, 8216 Princeton Glendale Rd.
