Travis Swink, age 90, of Rodessa, Louisiana, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 30, 2018, at his residence surrounded by family. Travis was born June 11, 1929, in Aspermont, Texas to Thad and Larue Swink. He was a retired Construction Superintendent and an Army veteran.

Travis enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and was a collector of stuff- all kinds of stuff. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary Joyce McCombs. He is survived by his wife of nearly… Read More » 65 years, Jeanetta Swink of Rodessa, Louisiana; two sons, Travis “Lucky” Swink and wife Lisa of Rodessa, Louisiana, Pete Swink and wife Tracy of Muskogee, Oklahoma; daughter, Debra Ramsey and husband Dennis of Granbury, Texas; brother, Jimmy Johnson of Midlothian, Texas; sister, Myrtie Downing of Abilene, Texas; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a number of nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Huffines Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Tim Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 6 pm – 8 pm, Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Hanner Funeral Service. Interment will be in Huffines Cemetery.
