Travis Terez Cypress, Sr. May 14, 1980 – December 9, 2018 Travis “Cyp” Terez Cypress, Sr., departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 38. He was a native of Pineville, LA, a former resident of Harvey, LA, and presently residing in Port Allen, LA. Travis attended West Jefferson High School and was employed with Progressive Waste Solutions.

He was a member of the security team at Tree of Life Christian Center. Loving father of Travis Cypress, Jr., Traviyan Arbuthnot, and Travon Cypress. Beloved son of Frank Cypress, Sr. and Idell Brignac.

Stepson of Stafford Brignac. Brother of Frank Cypress, Jr. (Yolanda Harris), Sterling (Michele) Brignac, Jr., Stafford (Kanettra) Brignac, Jr., Brittany Brignac (Terri, Sr.) Fairman, and Shwann Brignac (James) Robertson. Grandson of the late Ardel Stripling-Hill, Cleandrew Hill, Marie Harris, and Frank Cypress, Sr. Devoted companion of Kenyell Howard.

Father figure to Kaion Robinson. Travis is also survived by the mother of his children Antanisha Arbuthnot, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Tree of Life Christian Center, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Hosanna Fellowship of Gretna, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, priest and parishioners of St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Progressive Waste Solutions are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd.

Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Gilbert Barnes, host pastor; Pastor Shawn C. Lovely, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
