Obituary for Tressa Jones Tressa was born April 12, 1963, at Lane Memorial Zachary, Louisiana, her home Port Hudson, Louisiana. Tressa was a Flight Attendant for Continental and United Air Lines for 20 years. She took her last flight on October 7, 2018, at the home of her son Amir Jones in Concord, Ohio.
Tressa is survived by her mother Minister Ada M. Jones, father Albert Jones, and step-mother Earnestine Jones from the Painesville Ohio area. One brother Albert “Butchie” Jones (Mary) and her niece Taylor, from Charleston West Virginia and her nephew Hayden Means from Virginia Beach, Va. Tressa is also survived by a host of uncle’s aunts in Louisiana; Leandrue Jackson, Thomas (Sue) Jackson, David (Mary) Jackson, Gelorie Scott, Clementine (Earl) Peters, Rev.
Martha Adams, Melvina (James M.) Citizen, Juliette Jackson, Jennifer Wright, Patricia (Marvin) Moore, Alice Ford, Larry (Deborah) Jones, Cynthia Lenior, Debra (Donald) Dagen and Sharon Jones and her paternal family grandfather, Albert Jones Sr. Tressa was preceded in death by James Jones, Albert Jerome Jones, Mona Jones and Connie Jean Jones. Tressa was a loving, young woman and mother. She helped many senior citizens with the transition of their lives.
She has many life long friends from her child hood and coworkers that are now very heart broken over her departure. Tressa always put everyone before herself and would give anything to help others. Many people have attributed their successes to the help they received from Tressa.
We are all forever grateful for the time we were blessed to have Tressa with us. Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10am to 12pm at First Church Congregational, 22 Liberty St, Painesville, OH 44077. A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Tressa will be at Noon also at First Church Congregational.
