Troy Lynn Johnson, age 53, died Monday, October 1, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada of natural causes. He was born March 22, 1965 in Yerington, Nevada to Harold Eugene and Mary Evelyn Robbins Johnson. On May 19, 2012 he married Cinda Denise Grayson in Las Vegas.

Troy lived his early life in Moapa Valley where he graduated high school. While living in Las Vegas, he worked for nearly 28 years for the Clark County Building Department. As he was retiring, he started living part time in San Felipe, Mexico and part time in Overton.

He loved deep sea fishing, scuba diving, flying remote control airplanes, hunting with his brother and camping with his family. He loved his Dallas Cowboys and LA Dodgers. Survivors include his wife, Cinda of Overton and San Felipe, Mexico; one son and two daughters: Jessica Drapic; Kristi (Scott) Gudaitis; Kevin Johnson all of Las Vegas, NV; adopted son, Frankie (Elliot) McBride of Portland, OR; step son, Bryan (Genesis) Laub; step daughter, Bryanna Laub both of San Bernadino, CA; two grandchildren, Emma & Briana; mother, Mary Smith of Overton, NV; sister, Cherie Johnson and her children, Brenton, Alyssa of Redlands, CA and brother, Randy and his children, Paul, Justin and Ryan (Grace) of Overton, NV and sister in law Heidi of Tooele, UT.

Troy and Cinda are guardians for David Eisenman. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary Chapel with a visitation Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. and again from 10:30 – 11 a.m. prior to services at the Mortuary Chapel.
